I hated Stuart. Didn’t find him funny at all, or good looking.

Just started watching this and also find it a little boring.It’s funny how they try to not look at the camera but do!
I think that Harmonie is wearing green contact lens, they just don’t look natural.

Indian M was much better, here they seem to care more about your geography so they can show nice scenery than if you are actually trying to get married. They didn’t highlight the “level of Indian” nearly as much the way they keep making this one all about different levels of Judaism.

I don’t think he’s gay. My Mom is Israeli. He’s a stereotype, but not of a gay man.

Also, he’s exceptionally insecure. That accent is greatly enhanced. No one comes as a child and retains an Israeli accent like that. Even if he speaks Hebrew at home.


Right. That makes sense. I thought he was seriously punching above his weight. He was not a physically attractive man on any level. No muscle tone, bad posture, the head of a horse and teeth to match.

Yes she is wearing a well fitting, well dressed wig. She is practicing Orthodox. She said this.
It's a shame about the wig in a way though, because those photos of her as a young woman with all that gorgeous curly hair!

I’m Jewish nd I didn’t even realize there were that many practicing Jews who are this self centered and into sex. I think Ari and Harmonie should date, it’s their best shot at happiness. I also keep wondering if the matchmaker is wearing a wig. I liked Dani with Hawaiian Dani, they should get married and live in LA as a compromise.

Definitely thought the guy in Wyoming was gay.
When they first introduced him he didn't use a pronoun for his ex and at first I thought this show may include same sex couples.

Ok I binged this whole show tonight. And I loved it and the matchmaker herself is amazing.

This is my take - all the singles are not entirely straight but they are living in a culture where conventional marriage is expected. Some of those kids don't even know yet that they are gay, but they obviously are so.

I wonder if this might be explored in a further series.
