He’s in his mid twenties. What makes you think he doesn’t own basic kitchenware?

As an alternative to champagne—really nice bottle of whiskey or scotch (if he’s a fan). We just moved into a new place and received a few bottles of sparkling wine but we don’t drink it so I ha dicho it away!

I think a broom is traditional. But also, champagne or a good drill. A friend got my daughter a drill for college and she says it was the best present of them all.

I buy these for all my friends. People just don’t think about needing one.

Plus a Dewalt drill, a hacksaw, WD-40, and a roll of duct tape. I’ve been a homeowner for 13 years and I still love that tool set and have only had to buy a few supplemental (very job-specific) tools since.

As a recent new home owner the best gifts were a vacuum, home Depot gift cards, Lowe's gift cards, a bunch of tape (this stuff is expensive!), And a hammer drill + impact driver.
