Yes. We were just there over the weekend. So disappointed.

Lackluster food. Terrible service. High prices. Pass.

It used to be a staple for client lunches and dinners.

This too. Went a few months ago, and the service was so bad that if the waitress hasn’t given me such a sob story about her 5 kids, I would’ve asked to see a manager. The kitchen also sent out two things wrong. Such a shame. Used to be one of my favorites.

+2 it was hardly good to begin with

How has District Taco gotten worse? I go 2-3 times/month and the biggest difference I notice is the lack of the breakfast dish with the 3 eggs on a tortilla.

With roaches. Last time I are here one came out of the woodwork while I was eating. Just terrible.

Were you charged extra for them?

The one in Arlington is terrible now. Service is so bad.
Used to love Liberty bbq, but it’s just awful.

Even one of my kids loved it; up until right around Covid. Honestly, I think he was going down hill even before Covid.
I am talking about the uncle Julio’s in Arlington. The food is still decent (to us); not quite the quality - but the service is horrid for eating there or taking out.
We have cut back from once a month maybe to only on son’s birthday or maybe one other time a year.

We just got this week and 3 items were missing; one totally wrong. Granted, it was for 8 people but at this point we just expect it to be screwed up or not that great.

Anyone else go through the slow and painful end of a once enjoyed establishment? Did you find a replacement easily? I am really bummed about this rio grande and feel like I lost a friend.

Yes!!! When I saw your header…I was going to chime in with Uncle Julio’s Loudoun One! Interesting it’s the chain in general.

I know it’s another big chain but Chipotle stinks now. They always mess up our order. Every single time. And quality is meh. I refuse to go there.

Unlike above posters, I’ve been getting good salads at Sweetgreen. Maybe it’s location dependent. I go to Pike & Rose or Downtown Crown. For salads, Chopt is the restaurant that really went downhill. I ate it weekly for years and in 2020 we brought in lunch for the entire family weekly. It was a good way to get a pile of veggies into my teens and they loved experimenting with new combos. Now it’s inedible. Brown lettuce, no toppings, chemical tasting dressing.

A poster above also complained about GARs. We find Coastal Flats very consistent and still enjoy it.

Another person who lives up near Rockville here, and I have the same comments as you. SweetGreens in Crown is great. Maybe because it just opened and it's new, but it is tasty and fresh I go to the coastal Flats in Crown to get their warm goat cheese salad with a protein and have no complaints there either

Other restaurants that I see mentioned, I agree, have gone downhill.

This one hurts, honestly. It's basically like an Applebees or TGIFridays now.

The last Chili's I went to was in the Chesapeake area. They only had a few tex mex items on the menu but none were available for order. The manager said it was because the truck with their food delivery broke down and they got pushed to the next day. Anyway, I got a regular cheeseburger and got so sick after eating it. It was very greasy and gave me bad gastritis flare up that lasted a week.
