GMAB. I'd buy it if it were even remotely close to reasonably priced. But they gouge you. So I don't feel bad about skirting those costs, sorry. And now they want to charge me. more for better seats? I have always been an avid movie goer but that will be enough for me to stay home and stream it. It's just too expensive. They took what used to be a fun night with friends or family, and the thrill of seeing The Next Big Hit on the big screen, and made it way too unenjoyable and expensive. It's just not worth it.


+1 Only a fool would pay for movie theater candy. I paid for my movie ticket, no ethical problem whatsoever.

Yes I love ordering food at the Alamo. Otherwise I bring candy in my bag if we’re going to a different theater.

NP. Yes, we’re all obese after consuming a granola bar and bottled water over the course of 2 hours at a movie theater.

When I was poor, totally brought popcorn and candy into the theater. Now that I can afford it, I buy the large popcorn but bring bags so we can share with our family and get re-fills

That's the one thing you should bring from home.

My neighbor's son worked in a multiplex one summer and gave us the lowdown of theatre food.

The popcorn is delivered in huge plastic bags already popped and then transferred to the popcorn station where they pretend to pop. The "butter" is some kind of oil with a butter flavoring.

Bring your popcorn from home.

Look if the food was better quality and prices more reasonable more people would buy it. It's more convenient to buy there but it's expensive for some families and the food other than candy/popcorn isn't really worth buying.
