When things do come to light that may give a hint (stuff comes out even though DH and I dont advertise it) he always comes up with some sort of way to say it wasnt as much money as people think. We recently flew Emirates first class and paid for the family we were traveling with to do the same. Well they posted on SM basically thanking DH and I. So people asked DH about it and his answer was "oh well we got a deal" or something along those lines. So yeah, I could 100% see DH saying that splitting a private plane was more economically feasible as a way to make people think it wasnt as expensive as they thought.

Lol your friends are insanely rich.
It’s a few million for the plane alone. Then hundreds of thousands annual for fuel, maintenance, crew, insurance, hanger fees, etc,

Why?

I point it out because like the Kobe Bryant helicopter crash and Aaliyah plane crash, there can be an incentive for pilots to take unsafe actions in the interests of getting their client to the destination.
Wow this sounds like a local DC family. They were flying from Keene, VT to Leesburg, VA.
