In some shots Rose reminds me of the Indian girl in 1923 (can't remember the character's name). I think the actress is from New Zealand.
She is probably Maori which is Native in NZ.

After all they had been through/accomplished. Didn’t he think she was cool? She saved his life more than once.
Why does career trump that? (I suspect they did that to allow for a second season.But he did not even act torn.)
