I've only known Hispanic women named Lina, Colombian specifically. Had no clue it was an Arabic name! This isn't the only name that appears to be both Arabic/latina

Lots of great Arabic names for girls though! I like Zahra, Leila, Noura, Farah - many others too.
it means governess in Urdu.. well really.. nursemaid.. as well so im thinking it means something similar in arabic. its important that the name have a lovely meaning as well as sound. Nora is a good suggestion.
