Something has prompted Americans to skew not only negative but anti-American. Patriotism has been labeled as a bad thing. This is very troubling. Everyone should be worried.
The fact that the anti-Tik Tok discussion on the Hill enjoys bipartisan support is very chilling. Coming on the heels of a China/Russia lovefest speaks volumes about the legitimate fear our leaders have.
Youve posted this exact same stuff on another post.

Since Thursday hearing just 5 people called his office telling him not to banned TikTok, you think everyone will be calling.... I was 2 of those calls. Used my brothers name in one of them.

on the other hand, the US would look like a robbery if it forces tiktok to sell to US companies.
Who cares? China robs intellectual property every day.

This will play exceptionally well in Chinese propaganda.
Plus, Tik Tok is just one app. No one even mentions Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.?
Strange.
I suggest you review China lecturing us in the Spring of 2021 in Alaska and how Biden & Company responded. Go ahead. I dare you.
Show weakness, get what you deserve.

Do you hear yourselves? You are pro government censorship. You are asking for a big brother, big government.
If you don’t want your kids on Tiktok, you can forbid them from using it and lock down their phones. You could talk to them about why you don’t want them on it.
Great! Now do tobacco.
I’ll wait.
Anonymous wrote:Tbh, I think TikTok and other social media platforms should be quite limited in what they should serve up to children. China has limits on how long the kids can use the apps (40 minutes per day) and the content displayed (topics focused on education, science, tech, sports, history, etc).
The Chinese know that social media is harmful to developing brains, and probably even adults too.

I feel like this is the next Big Tobacco case - we instinctively knew for a long time it was unhealthy, but we truly did not understand the full effects and in fact we were lied to by the purveyors.
