What do you suggest? No breaks? Shorter breaks? I’m genuinely curious because I thought 3 hours/2 hours to run/explore a new town along the way/drive 3/stop for 2 was a good plan?
2 hours is not enough to "explore a new town." 2 hours is too much to just stretch your legs/shake off the energy. If the stop includes a meal, 1 hour is plenty. If it's just a shake out stop, 20-30 minutes is fine.
If you want to "explore a new town" plan on a multi-day journey.
