It’s not deflection. We all need to let our politicians know we’re done with it. THAT is the solution.


The gun control activists, with whom I agree, are too aligned with the Democratic Party and vilify the right. There won’t be progress with that approach. We need to win over R moderates. So long as we are in the bag for progressives and increasingly partisan (they use Act Blue for donations for example) we won’t make progress. Republicans need to feel that it’s their people calling for change.
