I'd be willing to venture that smelling cannabis is on its way to becoming a meaningless pretextual stop given the medical cannabis availability and the soon to be recreational availability. MoCo might still have more dispensaries than any other county in the state. The vast majority of these people are not folks with illegal guns.

Even cops support making cannabis a civil citation … it’s not a criminal stop.

What PP means is he uses the smell of c as n as his to harass black drivers who he suspects might have a gun based on the type of car/neighborhood/race.
