Sharla McBride said this was the most disrespect she has experienced in her 17 year career. If being compared to Barbie (which she did to herself in a 2020 tweet) is the worse she has experienced, she has had it pretty easy as a female in the sports field. Belittling her is not OK, but I think getting fired for it was an extreme response.
She's on Twitter calling herself Barbie, it's the biggest movie in the country, but don't call her Barbie or she'll get you fired for it. All of the local sports media types are backing her up, maybe cancel culture will come for them one day.
No big loss though, Geronimo's morning zoo show was terrible in the 80s, his Stern rip off show was terrible in the 90s, and he didn't age well. WBIG plays old songs for old guys, stick with that.
If she refers to herself as Barbie then he will have a case. FYI so tired of cancel culture. If I were her I would have blown it off and no way would I want someone’s career ruined. I feel like this sort of thing would definitely come back to me at some point.

One thing I don't like about Elliot and them is how they poke fun of the non-vaxers, they just did it again on Polo co...

Began listening in HS when they had the drive time show; Mike was married or maybe divorcing OG Mrs. O’Meara, Bart was a toddler (“Hey Ken Stevens give my Daddy more money!) and David.David Hanes was the newsman.
Favorite bits were when they got a height weight chart and would ask callers for stats and then ring a bell (Hi, Baybayyy) if a female had all the right stats, or how they’d recognize a smoker’s voice and ask about brands/smoking habits. Mike loved determining a fellow Big Man based upon voice alone. Then he’d guess the guys weight.
They also called into an automated health information line and would play roulette - try to get the most concerning (and funny) condition like Diarrhea.
Loved their Jeopardy with Don hissing, “not in the form of a question!”
Sound effects, Freda calling in, We’re Fat. We’re White. We’re Catholic…and we are sick about it!
I thought Buzz Burbank was the news guy. ?
Pre Buzz it was David David Hanes
Also recall Shari Liquor before Buzz.
Loved Buzz’s intro music.
What's the Buzz is JCSS, not Hair. Sorry, could not let that one slide.

Jack Diamond was awful
+1
Came here to say this. Plus, Stern was great when I was in law school.
Anonymous wrote:PP and I remember the Greaseman but didn’t listen - I didn’t find him that funny but all my HS male classmates loved him. Hobble de gah gah.

Loved Buzz’s intro music “What’s that Buzz?” from Hair and how D and M would constantly interrupt him. I remember Marsha Burbank calling in + even doing commercials.
