DS also waitlisted. He will accept his spot on the waitlist while we await other decisions, but not sure what to make of the July 1 date for a final decision from Tech. How does that work if you’re supposed to accept an offer and put a deposit down in May or June?
He’s already in at GMU and ODU and we are pretty confident he will get in at JMU.

Oh boy. No that is not what it meansyou need the total number of acceptances not seats. VA Tech does not typically have a high yield, though they are trying to change that which is why you see a lot of waitlisting of high stats.

Oh, if the yield is factored in, the admission rate is much higher than 15%
