I’m the Arties poster. Here’s the thing. I got the filet for dinner. An 8oz filet is $51 at Arties and came with salad and baked potato. I can go to Ruth Chris for an 8oz filet at $51 too. I would have to pay extra for a side dish, but the quality of steak and experience is sooo much better at Ruth Chris. It’s worth skipping Arties and going to Ruth Chris. Arties is moving itself out of the moderately priced restaurant and into the expensive end. It’s just that the ambiance and food quality can’t compete in that category. And yes, both places have comparably priced burgers too.

This. There is still a serious worker shortage in the restaurant industry.

Ate at Arties about two weeks ago. Food seemed mediocre and service was blah. My salad was served without any dressing on it and it took forever for the waiter to show back up to get dressing. Disappointing and won’t be my first choice for a meal out with the family anytime soon.

Extremely regional chains. GAR is literally only found in Northern Virginia.

There is also a Coastal Flats in Maryland
