For states Georgia and Virginia are acceptable (unless you live in the state you are naming the kid after--then not ok)

City names are all awful and are basically Baryden/Jayden/Cayden.

When I lived in California 25 years ago, our neighbor named their daughter California. They called her "Callie" as a nickname. I actually only recently learned her full name through a Facebook post, because her parents always just called her Callie.

I know a teenage girl named Britain

Georgia
Allemagne (“Allie”)
Italia (“Lia”)
Egypt
Israel
Lithuania (“Nia”)
Croatia (“Tia”)
Spain
Bolivia (“ ‘Olivia”)
Russia (“Sia”)

You are kidding, right? I'd rather name them Hayden, Brayden and Jayden.

Never heard of an Indian kid named India. It is usually non-Indians who do such names.

America isn’t a country. It’s an Area and part of the name of two continents. I mean, I guess it’s also part of the name of one country.

Me: I'm from America.
PP: What country are you from?
Me: Your blonde root is showing.
