Depends on your social context. Are you chubby among your peers? If so, then yes. If you fit right in, then no. There's no objective standard.

What is your current size and weight? Just curious. I'm also 5'2" and around 123 lbs, size 6. But I don't feel like I look heavy. I look pretty average I think for mid-40s with two kids.

I'm sadly about 20 lbs heavier than my high school weight (which is where my kid is now). But I don't think it would look natural for me to be that skinny anymore at this age.

My BMI in a size 8 is underweight. Butt out shortie.

Giving a size isn't as meaningful as giving a weight.

I we know your height AND weight, we can give you the answer you seek.

Having said that, I'd say you're Chunky yet funky!

I don’t think you can say that when your perspective is of someone who’s 5”2. Obviously size 6-8 seems big on a short person, because your weight can’t be distributed over much height. If you were 5”6 and size 6 you’d look pretty thin; if you were 5”9+ and size 6 you’d look very skinny.

Im a size 2-4 and 5'5"

I don't think a size 8 would be considered "heavy" just on the fuller end of a heathy weight.

Depends on the level of fitness and how the person feels. I am 5’8” and wear a size 8. However, right now I am a very soft size 8 whereas I used to be a very fit, muscular size 8. My body looks very different even in the same clothes. I feel heavy (and look heavier in photos) even though my actual lbs and clothing size are the same.

No, average, I think.
