And it's viewed as completely normal for many urban teens to have babies.

Yeah, that’s a weird comment because tons of women were having kids in their 30s in the 50s and 60s. My mom had 4 kids in her thirties in that time frame. She has her first at 24 and I don’t think anyone thought she was particularly old then.
