21:58 again. I completely forgot, last time my father went for an appointment at his cancer center he was surprised to learn they no longer have the mask requirement. It’s not local.

This. You are understandably stressed and it’s coming out on your sister. If you are that worried you shouldn’t have agreed to a visit.

A lot of people don’t think to mask anymore. My father is in long term cancer treatment. Unless he’s at the hospital or a doctor’s office, he doesn’t mask. We flew twice to see him this past year and we didn’t mask. We would if anyone asked but I didn’t think of it since he also doesn’t mask in day to day life.

Oh STOP. I fly 2x a week for work to various cities across the US. I don't mask. I'd say it's 5% masking on the flights. You're telling me 95% of these people have COVID. RIGHHHTT.

Sorry your sister is a dope. Everyone who visits your H should mask carefully and try to stay away from others as much as possible. I think she can be unmasked at your house and you guys just keep testing for a few days. It would be a pain if she gives you covid but the real worry is your H. I am a cancer patient and very familiar with this dance.

You shouldn’t be seeing them, that’s the point. They should be avoiding others for a period of time before they travel. . Not hitting the grocery store, post office and gym maskless before slapping on a mask and boarding a plane.

Don’t most hospitals require masks?


Yes they do because the patients are mostly at high risk so if you know you are visiting you shoudl take extra precautions...even if you typically do not.

Again your circle must be VERY small. I don't know anyone who has gotten Covid from flying in the past 6 months and we don't mask AT ALL anymore. 15 family members flew here for Christmas. None masked. No covid.

Same here. Business and personal travel, international and domestic, quite often (multiple times a month) including several long haul flights, and no covid in our family of five in 11 months. Also add in multiple schools, several indoor concerts, countless hotel stays…
