I don't understand what point you are trying to make? Someone posted that there will be a salad bar. Lots of people are excited. You are still going on and on about food waste because kids don't eat salad when clearly some of them do. Crazy!!

By your logic, a lot of kids in FCPS won't or don't eat vegetables. Should we remove them from all cafeterias and only serve trusty candy and fried food instead?

The salad bar isn’t limited to Title I schools.

No, they are starting the rollout (re-rollout) at Title 1 schools and will bring the salad bar back everywhere.

I am a teacher and love that the salad bar is coming back!! In the past, I would try to get to the salad bar when it first came out and refrigerate my food until my designated lunch time. Carrot sticks and the fruit options were favorites of the students.

Also teachers have stated they won’t touch it after seeing the germy kids near it.

My kid doesn't like milk, they get a milk on their cafeteria tray every day and toss it out but you don't see me saying the cafeteria should stop serving milk, do you?
