Same with MCPS, every few years it takes another step function step down the toilet. Even the church schools are running waitlists.

Something over 75% public in my niegborhood: Rosemary Hills in Silver Spring. Pretty much everyone moved here so they can be in the Bethesda Chevy Chase cluster.

Close in Bethesda. Used to be probably 70%. Now probaby 50 after the pandemic moved a lot of families. Of those starting now (entering K or moving in) it's back up substantially

In my immediate neighborhood of Woodley Park, I would say no more than 10% attend private schools for K-8th (due to Oyster-Adams). Private high school attendance is probably around 25-50%.
