Might take my 8yo son too who is growing up with older sisters and should have a solid understanding of what growing up is like for girls. I might actually take the girls first to gauge how it would be for him. I also think my husband, who is a fantastic dad but who struggles a bit with parenting tween and teen girls, should see it.

Wow! That’s exciting! I’m the pp who is seeing the movie next week. I saw her speak about 7-8 years ago. The audience was filled with 30-50 year old women who grew up with her. I think every person was thrilled to be there - my group definitely was! Have fun!

I am 60 and feel like a girl needs to be about 8 or 9 for it to have the same thrill we experienced at 11 or 12.

There is an early showing on 4/19 before it officially opens on 4/28. Bought tickets the other day for me and my 21 year old dd. Glad she goes to college nearby, lol.
