It’s Catherine, Princess of Wales.
Sorry, it’s princess Kate and has been since she got married. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Wrong, she is not Princess Kate, and Diana wasn’t Princess Diana.
It’s Catherine, Princess of Wales.

That’s a really good point. I’ve watched more than one documentary about that mess and, nothing.

And this doesn’t count but a lot of actors use accents so it’s shocking to hear their real voices. Christian Bale, Tom Holland, and Colin Ferrel were surprises to me.
That's a good point about actors. Many are definitely true vocal chameleons. I also think of Hugh Laurie who became so well known for playing an American on House, and did it for so long, that he now basically has an American speaking voice and a British speaking voice and can do either. They made a joke about it on his latest show because he played a character who is British but pretends to be American for his job, and he winds up having to flip back and forth between accents multiple times, even in the same scene. It's funny and impressive but I suppose he has had a lot of practice.

Who are some other famous people who you basically never hear speak? Obviously actors won't make this list, or reality stars. I was trying to think of another person but am coming up empty. Even most of the business/tech gurus I've heard in random interviews or they appear in commercials for their products or something.
Are there others who are the same level of recognizably famous (you'd see a picture and know who it was) but you very rarely hear speak? I recognize this might have something to do with being in the US, maybe people in the US hear Kate talk but I don't think I ever have.
Speaking of Kate Middleton and I’m surprised no one has said this one yet but do we know what Camilla sounds like? I don’t ever remember hearing her voice. I feel like iv heard Jate speak more than Camilla.
