for a DD? You've got to be kidding. PP was right. The last two of 21:51's post.

WTH?
I have no idea what you two are on about. I have *huge* boobs by any measure (~38H) and I love cowl necklines. Very flattering, the cowl gives plenty of room for the boobs, and you can wear a bra with them! I love this dress.
Agree about the cowl but that particular dress is too "young" and nightgown-y. V similar to the famous Carolyn Bessette dress.
It's a beautiful dress, but that type of silk shows *every* single bump and lump, so you better be fit and have a great figure. I wore something similar years ago when I could....but I sure wouldn't now, and it doesn't sound like it would flatter OP who said she had a "pooch".

Maybe I'm an outlier but this dress is ridiculous. It looks like a bride costume for a preschooler. If I ever saw someone getting married in this getup I'd have to leave so nobody could hear me laughing.
It def is giving very young and not a 40 yo second marriage

Short, size 8, I have very slight mom pooch, boobs are 38 DD and need to figure out how to accommodate them. My first dress was strapless fitted Vera Wang and long. It was flattering.
Are you in the D.C. area? I am 5'3" and have a similar build to you and was getting ready to sell my dress. I had a small lunchtime wedding without dancing so it's basically brand new (no sweating, no spills).
This is cute
It's from BHLDN; the fabric is a silk/cotton blend. Here is what it looks like on a non-model. (I'm 5'3 and at the time of my wedding I was 132 lbs. and a 34D.)
