I feel like my GP won’t do prescribe.
My bmi is 28 but my cholesterol and triglycerides are high and so is cortisol so I have heart palpitations too. Holding off until we know heart is generally ok but looking into options to get the weight off.

I’ve done keto to lose weight but it didn’t really do much last time and the high cortisol is hard to battle.

Thinking it might be time for meds.
Anyone use an online service?
I have UHC and I’m assuming they won’t cover it.

Try PUSH health (telehealth).

Try Lillydirect. It is direct from the manufacturer and they have a telehealth option for those that need a prescription.

I've been on the fence about these drugs for awhile and I know my doctor is going to want to talk to me about them in January. My BMI is 34 and my weight is 225. I've lost 60lbs on WW, then gained it back plus more, then lost 80lbs on WW and then gained it back. It's been tough. I got here thanks to psych meds (I weighed 125 before going on them, and was a model in my early 20s because of my height and naturally skinny body--with the medication (and I've tried all of them), which I very much need, I gained and gained.

PP, TY for sharing. Going through this with our recently diagnosed DC. It's so hard to have everything cratering at one.

GL - appreciate your sharing this as well any other insights you may have.

Would love an update from the OP on going off the drug a year later...
