20k each in our 401k and then 30k in my mega Roth. Doesn’t include employer match or our HSA which we are using as a retirement tool.

Including employer contribution (50% of the first 3%) ot was $19,800.

I’m on one decent enough (just over $100k) income but with a SFH mortgage, utilities, ever-increasing property tax, etc. it doesn’t seem to go that far. I’m proud of myself for saving that much. Bumping it up a percent next year, too.

Tax qual savings:
$100k - self employed DB plan
$67 - self employed 401k and profit share with catch up
$8k - HSA not used for health care
$7k - IRA
Total = $182k

We also invested in the market - maybe another $100k? And paid off our mortgage which was another $100k.

I’m blowing as much as I can while I still have my wits, health and bowels about me.

For when I depart this earthly plane… for the heavenly skies above… I will do so with a full stomach and tipsy buzz, clean sheets in a bed I didn’t make, and a smile upon my face.
