I was apparently an appliance house - ezbake oven, snoopy cone machine (yep, the retro original one), ice cream maker that took salt but I did not have board games. It seems like an either-or type home experience for us all.

^adding to my post above. The best joint gifts my kids received over the years were good, not stuff. They never wanted to share a toy and didn’t play board games.

I’m one of the PP who hated the idea. You know the only appliance my kids regularly have used over the years? The magic bullet or the ninja. They make tons of smoothies and have been using these from the time they were little though making protein shakes as teens.

This isn’t a fun gift to open but would be the only kitchen appliance that wouldn’t be donated in my house.
