Who “conspired against Sanders,” besides the 9.5 million more voters Biden had over Sanders?
After Bernie gained a lead in the early 2020 primary, Obama made a call to Clyburn and then to Klobuchar and Buttigieg and asked them to endorse Biden/drop out and endorse Biden. Not to mention the mainstream media Red Scare blitz telling voters that the apocalypse would come if Bernie were elected.
So the "conspiracy" was that a former president supported the man who had been his vice president for 8 years, rather than a person who is not a member of the Democratic party, and asked . . . [checks notes] . . . three other democrats to do the same? And that led you to vote for . . . [checks notes again] . . . Donald Trump, after seeing how he governed for four years? Because he was "less dangerous" than Joe Biden?
OK.
I agree with a PP - probably best that you don't vote. You can use the time you'd otherwise use researching candidates to look up the definition of "conspiracy."
I didn't vote for Trump because I wanted to him. I voted against Biden because I didn't like the whole process. If I didn't live in MARYLAND, I probably would have voted differently. I knew Maryland was going for Biden by at least 30 points.
Well, this is progress, I guess. We've moved on from "conspiracy" to "I didn't like the whole process." Although "I didn't like that Obama supported Biden" is still pretty weak sauce.
I don't like when elites try to manufacture consent among the people. They successfully did that with Hillary and Biden. They tried to do that with Blair over Elrich but failed, and that brings me so much joy.
In your mind, one politician endorsing another is "elites try to manufacture consent among the people?" OK, I guess. That happens every single election cycle, you know.
And that's precisely why people are losing faith in US elections. It's not "rigged" in the way the "elections are stolen" people say, but if you don't believe that corporations, the mainstream media, and establishment politicians put their thumbs on the scale for candidates who uphold the status quo, I have a bridge to sell you.
The mainstream media's hysteria over Trump was part of what led me to vote for him, as a way of giving them the middle finger. That wasn't going to make a difference in Maryland.
Likewise, you can say the same for Elrich, from the opposite end of the political spectrum. The media, especially the Washington Post, is completely deranged and hysterical over Elrich the Stalinist business-killer, which made me take joy in voting for him even more.

Nobody doubts that fools exist.

I, unlike establishment Democrats, don't assume that everyone who doesn't agree with me must have a head injury.
