My child has Naviance in FCPS and nothing is there yet. Where are you finding them exactly? The "Test scores" tab shows nothing.

Dumb question ... when they get the report from the College Board, can they see what they missed?

My kid is a senior and last year had a 222 composite in DC last year (honorable mention National Merit because 223 was the crazy high cutoff)
Got a 35 ACT spring junior year
but only 1480 0n the real SAT- weird day he wasn't feeling well. not submitting or retaking bc of high act

It's worth it to take both- just to see.

9th grade PSAT 1280
10th grade PSAT 1360
(no 11th grade PSAT because of Covid)
11th grade SAT 1520

you should let him repeat if he wants to. DS took it 1 time and before said he would retake anything less than 1550. Got 1560 so was done. But they often have their own target in their mind and may feel unsatisfied if they don't at least try again. 1520 is a great score, so really no downside.

SAT 11 1520 (790 math, 730 verbal)

do you agree- no need to re- take SAT?

how do you convert the score? all I have are math and reading SAT scale scores

Actually just checked and she went up a lot more -- 1030 in 10th (PSAT) to 1390 in 12th (SAT),

FCPS parents - can you see PSAT scores in the parent Naviance account or do you have to get them from your child's account?

The intended process is to wait til next week when College Board releases to students. They give to schools as a head's up, but they don't expect them to reveal them to students. It's a nice treat if schools send them to students, but why should they spend hours sending kids emails when the kid can just wait til next week? If you're wondering what to study, then a practice test will be more useful (and probably the best practice, at this point, for the SAT).

Only if your school loaded it in there. Not there for our MCPS school. In past, it’s taken months for my kid’s school. If anyone does have theirs from MCPS, please let us know. I keep checking when people post statements like this.

The College Board does not have my child's scores up, but I just checked Naviance and the PSAT scores are on there.

My kid's PSAT scores actually went down 20 points from last year. For the 10th grade PSAT and SAT she studied on Khan Academy. She neglected to study for the 11th grade PSAT because she is comfortable with her 10th grade 1540 SAT score.
