Um, no - nothing shows that this is true. It's one person's word against another's. I'm inclined to believe the Supreme Court Justice, but YMMV.
The emails at the time back up the story.
Get your head out of your behind.

He also said Roe was settled law. Guess what? He lied! If he was willing to lie in a confirmation hearing, what makes you think he’d have a problem lying to a journalist? Lying for Jesus is a thing; Scummy Alito absolutely thinks he should lie.

It is a stain on the functioning of a key pillar of our government that one critical branch is so clearly compromised by unethical workings (and don’t even get me started on ACB and Kavanaugh and how they were both awful/ illegitimate additions to the court - but I feel that ship has sailed). The priority to restore trust is that Thomas and Alito must go.
Wow. Neither were awful, much less "illegitimate." Amazing that you STILL can't bring yourself to get over it.
Both were awful.
Kennedy had already hired clerks. Clearly Trump got him to retire. Kavanaugh is an accused rapist, maybe an actual rapist. We’d know if the FBI had done an investigation, but they gave all the tips to the Trump White House.
And Miss Ann? Unqualified, unintelligent - blank note cards was a bit on the nose, though of course she couldn’t see that - and installed during an election? Get out of here.
Awful. Illegitimate. And liars. NP.

What makes you inclined to believe Alito?
Ever heard of "innocent until proven guilty"? That's a concept many liberals seem to have a very hard time with.

And if Roberts had a shed of integrity, he would come out publicly and say that he hasn’t been able to reform/ agree on the ethical lines internally as a SCOTUS and he should call on congress to impeach them both. That’s the only way I see him being able to redeem his legacy and get the court heading in the right direction.
You mean, "get the court heading in the direction I deem correct." Do you even hear yourselves?
