Not too much of a difference

I am newly divorced and finding younger men sensitive, kind, and overall amazing.

I mean stinky breath is an issue at any age. Wouldn't be less of a problem if they were only 2 years age difference

I wonder if there's a difference between gen x men in their 50s and 60 s vs people who dated Boomer men.

You are wrong, aging makes many medical and bodily functions worse. OP is so young. Somehow it just happens that much younger women date older men when the latter are wealthy. Even if they claim they are not for money. Yes, I wasn’t for money with my ExH but it did help him to win in dating competition. It does help when women sense the date has financial stability as it resolves many future problems

My viewpoint is a bit skewed. Someone who's just a few years older doesn't exactly seem old too me, and we have stuff in common.

But he's also a father of an adult daughter who's just about a decade younger than me which is odd for me even if I don't want anything serious

You are uncomfortable with aging, clearly.

I do not look 45. Read my logical reasons. There is no reason to date much older unless a woman has to. There is no reason to date older than my age. I do not want or need a man’s money. That is the typical reason women date older. An older man would complicate my life logistically. No reason to deal with that when I have options of people a few years younger who would I not complicate my life with kids schedules.

I'm 57 and dating an amazing 23 year old. She just likes older men. She doesn't seem to be into it for the money, and doesn't want to have children.

Of course both genders prefer younger partners (if they can attract one for LTR). That’s very understandable you enjoy your 27 yo partner a lot. I was a sweeping beauty and a sex bomb in my 20s so my 11 years older exH just couldn’t resist. He was also much wealthier than my dates of similar age and just showered me with high level courting. Once we married it scaled back.

The real question is where your young partner equally enjoy the relationship when you are 70 and she’s 40.

Lol. I read this as you wouldn’t date someone younger than 74.

I mean isn't that what she's saying.

Anyway my parents were older when they had me so he's about 20 years younger than my mom and closer in age to my oldest sibling.

What about carnal friends? Maybe she wants to get with him carnally.

You asked me a question and I answered. If you want sex with an almost 60 year old go for it but, if I was 38, hell no.

Wasn't op who you replied to but go off at some point if you're lucky you'll be having sex with a 60 year old.

You have issues with aging and each reply proves that.
