Your anecdote really is irrelevant to the point you are trying to make - and I think your point has no data yet to support it. It's really just your opinion.
This forum is about 99% anecdotes. Check the data yourself. Admissions to UVA for entering class of 2026 was brutal.

So, maybe it is harder EA if you presume the applicants are higher stats who are applying elsewhere...
