So? Babies cry, dogs yap
Found someone who beings their dogs in stores (and probably thinks taking care of a dog is the same thing as raising a child).

Anonymous wrote:I think forcing a dog into Costco is a form of animal abuse. The stores are large, crowded, and loud. Traumatic for any animal.

+1. Great news. Thanks, OP.
No - you can't.
After this thread yesterday I called my local Costco today, and they do allow dogs. So yes, I can and I will.
But why?
NP and I also asked ne of the workers that I’m friendly with, because I see her so much. Basically, she said they don’t want the trouble and hassle since so many people claim their dogs and pets are service animals. I’m the one who saw a woman with a guinea pig in that front basket.

I call BS.
It is against FEDERAL LAW to have live animals on the premise wherever food is sold. There are minor exceptions for things like fish tanks besides service dogs.
Technically, coffee shops and all restaurants are not allowed to let dogs into their establishments because they are selling food. Dogs are absolutely not allowed in grocery stores, period. What Costco said yes? I would like to know so that I can lodge a complaint that that Costco is violating federal law.
You should cite that federal law for us.
6-501.115 Prohibiting Animals.
(A) Except as specified in ¶¶ (B) and (C) of this section, live
animals may not be allowed on the PREMISES of a FOOD
Pf ESTABLISHMENT.
