They do have 2 really accomplished coaches( as players) which is a positive. Remains to be seen if they can run with the top programs.
Probably the worst matchip for them out of any top 5 team. Pride's weakness is their defense, especially crease side. Eagle Stix has the best executing offense in the country, like a well-oiled machine. They will just cut and pass it around until Pride makes a mistake and Pride has no defender who can physically matchup to Eagle Stix' star attacker.
To have a chance, Pride will need to win 70% of the draws.

Moved from MC elite 2 or 3 years ago
MD parent here. MC Elite picked up a very strong player that was a standout on Pride 27.

These two are well ahead and are constantly upgrading their talent with the top players from the other good Baltimore clubs (NEMS, Coppermine, Integrity, etc.) These are two of the top teams in the country, if not the two best, so there's no shame in taking losses. The funny thing is that most of the teams discussed on DCUM will never even play these two juggernauts. They are busy competing in the fourth bracket down vs. teams that really shouldn't even be considered "travel".

Pride Red plays:
Coppermine (I expect a win, Coppermine lost a few players)
NEMS (they lost difference makers at middie, should be easy win)
Eagle Stix (very tough team and attacks, will be a loss)
Is it? I'm seeing last year's schedule.

Why is Stars Light Blue 27s in a lower bracket?
Because they always play in lower brackets whenever they play in any top tourney.
Despite playing in a lower bracket, they are going to get housed by Renegades.

Not sure about "right" behind them, there's a substantial gap.
Substantial gap between BLC and Pride? Not so sure about that....
Stars 27, like the 26 Stars team, has KJ back coaching and the team is not the same as last year. I would not count them out yet.
The top players on all teams will go out for the MD clubs as well.
