it never occurred to me not to buy it bc I am white. I already have one so I guess it's too late for me.

I find it unlikely that all of you who say you just bought the bag did so, since it's sold out almost everywhere. You are just trolls trying to rile people up.

I am a white woman and not everything is for you OP. It’s ok for there to be some things that you like and covet but cannot have.

It’s like cultural appropriation and Halloween costumes. If you have to ask if it’s wrong, it’s probably wrong. If you ask “if I do X Y Z, then is it ok?” It is wrong. If you have to justify or explain your choice, if you have to modify the costume to make it ok - that is your clue it is wrong.

If you feel you will have to explain your choice or if you will constantly wonder if POC are giving you stink eye when you carry the bag - it’s not worth it. Just find another tote bag.

I’m Latina and this is bs. This mentality is backwards and racist.

Notice PP that it is always white ppl coming up with these ridiculous rules. I’m Arab and I also think this mentality is racist and backwards

Yes it is stupid hence why OP is asking. I’m a foreigner too and I find America’s race taboos hard to understand. One mistake and u are cancelled with ur face all over social media. What a mean and vindictive society.

Just opened mine, love it. It fits my laptop perfectly. The color is great. Can’t wait to use it! Thanks for introducing me to it, op!

Explain yourself Pp?

I bought one (I'm white) and carried it and was harassed on the street by young black women. I have a low tolerance for that kind of interaction while going about my daily business so I gave it to a friend who presumably wouldn't catch shit for it.

Seriously? People have way too much time on their hands.

I just saw an orange one for the first time the other day. I also just bought one for myself.

FWIW: I saw one of these bags for the first time on Friday. A young woman was carrying one in a grocery store. It was quite nice looking and while it had this giant logo the logo was part of the leather so it looked more abstract.

OMG. Get a grip. Your absurdity just made me decide to buy one of these bags - which I previously had never heard of. I can't believe there are actually lunatics who think like this.

These are the kind of people that don't have any real Black friends to have conversations about these types of things.

Same. I am a white woman who has never heard of this brand who just bought the bag because of this insane post. Omg.

And honestly, the Black folks trying to gatekeep this is are crazy (I am Black). We are 12% of the population. Don’t discourage the other 88% from patronizing this product.

Thank you! I would love to own one because I think they are genuinely beautiful. And it’s a bonus to support a black designer.

I had not heard of this brand before but LOVE the colors. Is there any secret to knowing when they will be restocked? I have been wanting a really nice hunter green bag for a while.
