Nope. It’s too good and too selective to qualify for inclusion. Those schools are for losers who can’t get into schools far lower ranked than 18.

I've lived in VA for 30+ years. Richmond is at the bottom of that list. If you live in-state, it's hard to imagine why anyone would choose Richmond over multiple public options.
I’ve lived in Virginia since the 1980s. It doesn’t make me any more of an expert on all things Virginia any more than it does you.
The only VA school comparable to U of R is W & M.
And yet they are not comparable
and yet they are
Only in your mind
Accep Rate: WM 37% Richmond 30%
Undergrads WM 6,000 WM 3000
Both: liberal arts colleges
AVG SAT WM 1411 Richmon 1375
Demographics WM 14% AA, Richmond 48% AA ..... oh now i know where you are coming from... Lol, VA is so wildin
If you are saying that UR students are 48% African American, you are just lying.

Obviously you don't spend a lot of time on DCUM (which is a good thing). People here live and die by these rankings.

It is a regional school. If you want to stay in the greater Richmond to Charlotte corridor, then it is great. But it is not a national school in reputation. Sure, that could change, but "elite" at this juncture is a reach.
I don't disagree that it's a regional school, but the bolded in the original quite is just silly. There were more people in my graduating class (nearly three decades ago) from NJ than Virginia. That's been true, or nearly true, since then.
Anonymous wrote:Omg people really?? No
It’s a good school it’s not elite it has rich mommies and daddies footing the bill
No one on the other side of the country has heard of it

The biggest reason they aren't comparable for Virginians is W&M is in state tuition and Richmond is not. They are more comparable in that sense for an OOS applicant.

what's AA?
I suspect they are talking about African American and referring to Williamsburg and Richmond rather than the enrollment. Not sure why they think that is relevant.
