It's a great idea OP, but who has the time for that? Also, aren't you spending more in gas $$ to return the item than if you just let it go? Stores know that only a small fraction of people have the time to return bad items.

I've been going for years and never had anything spoiled.
It's like buying produce at the 7-11 -- it will work in a pinch. There's no comparison between produce from Trader Joe's and a real grocery store.

They pump the packages full of some kind of gas so they meat doesn't get discolored as it ages and you can't tell by looking at it. So wrong.
