They start reviewing merit awards 10/1 and I think start releasing towards end of month.

DC just got word of merit aid today. From what I understand there are additional competitive opportunities for merit aid for Honors College accepted students--Chancellors Scholarships. At our visit they told us honors college decisions would be made later this year, likely after the regular deadline for application. Does anyone know, if you kid received medium sized merit aid package now, can they still be considered for the bigger Chancellor's scholarship later on after honors college decisions are made?

Congrats! When was your DC accepted?

Thank you! Accepted on 9/4

We finally got an email that said it was under review, but the status when you log in still shows pending. Anyway, they seem to have everything and I assume they are reviewing it now.

Son's CS application went directly from pending to complete in 2 weeks and the admit/decline buttons appeared the same day it was "complete". We never saw "review", only pending and complete. Formal admit letter in document center the day after the buttons showed up. Good Luck!

My dc got accepted last night. Applied August 3 for environmental science with guaranteed admit to MS in education. Went to review status about 2 weeks ago, did the SRAR beginning of September. 3.8 uw, 4.3 weighted; 5 APs, lots of honors but also regular classes. Was stressful during the wait since Pitt is top 3 of dc’s schools.

Applied 9/18, accepted 10/4 to Dietrich
3.95 UW, 4.2W
34 ACT

Applied to honors as well, no word on that or any merit. Offered guaranteed admittance to public health grad school with a 3.3 GPA.
