Seriously.

And it's legal, and no one is going to force anyone to take a flyer. Just like on election days, if you don't want to engage, please keep walking. No one will tackle you.
It's not the school board elections that really bring them (both parties) there, folks. It's the bigger picture--the upcoming VA elections, to elect all 11 of our Representatives to Congress. These days, whichever way you vote, it's a pretty important election, so getting the word out is important. And again, legal to do at BTSNs.
Who exactly made this legal?

I dutifully joined the line, and was infuriated to realize once I was near the entrance that the line (and delay to enter the school) was caused by the political parties handing out their flyers. The people around me in line were also annoyed; we were all late for the classroom presentations despite having arrived in time. It was pretty obnoxious of both parties. And it's obnoxious that they are handing out flyers that go immediately into the recycling bin...so wasteful!
Pretty sure I was on the same LONG line to get into BTS (Haycock?) and the delay had nothing to do w/ the political parties — it was the high volume of people entering one door at the same time and stopping right inside the entrance to be directed to classrooms. Find something else to be infuriated about.
