OMG stop. No, you need a lifestyle change first. Go see a doctor or make an appointment at your local hospital's weight loss clinic. Drugs should never be your first choice. Grow up, there's no easy solution.
I say this as someone who recently lost 60lbs by changing my diet and adding in exercise (190 to 130). I did not use drugs.

So, lifetime of paying for those drugs, or surgery?
I also listened in to Dr. kahan and it looks like his practice will be very helpful for me on the psychological side of why I eat so much of the wrong things. That therapy plus the sleeve may be my best option. I have the money, but it will be missed.
Anonymous wrote:Which surgery did you have? I would consider the sleeve. Bypass may be overkill. I am torn, sleeve plus therapy. Or drugs plus therapy.

Anonymous wrote:I am 100 lbs overweight and pretty sure I am diabetic. Anyone recommend a medical practice that does weight loss with newer drugs, nutrition, behavioral therapy all in one? I need to change my lifestyle and eating habits, but I realize I cannot do it on my own anymore. I know there are diet programs, and I did one. But the therapy and help was minimal, it was all about buying their products and a drug. I want to use the new drugs, but I need therapy etc to go with it. I would consider surgery, but too many horror stories about complications after a couple years. And, with the surgery you don’t eat anything hardly, that is why every one loses weight.
