OK I'm trying to understand, or is it June 23rd? I cannot tell. I looked at both.

I've been ranting about this for a week! It is impossible to read and I had to go searching for the first and last days of school. The larger is one is just as terrible. I can't tell what colors those stupid bars are. Please for the love of G-d DCPS go back to the old one that was readable.

Thanks for this. I saw this on their website last week, but now it’s gone. I’d suggest that everyone prints up a copy or two before DCPS deactivates the link,

This version definitely used to be on the website just last week, titled "Staff calendar." I have one printed in my office. I can't find it anymore though. Looks accurate to me.

Yes, that’s the old format. Too bad that one is for next year.

Wait, so "religious dates" and "cultural dates" are all indicated on the school calendar but only if they have a blue dot with them is school closed? So bizarre. And wouldn't parent-teacher conference dates and end of term dates be sort of important, even on an "at a glance" calendar. Instead they are just lumped in with the other "not school for students" dates. This is problematic because families will see those "off" days and think "family event/getaway" when parents actually need to be thinking "that off day is actually PT conferences...stay in town."

wow, i thought maybe the OP was making this up but this calendar is horrendous.

When does school start? There is nothing in August that indicates this.

Someone needs to make an iCal and sell it for 99 cents in the App Store.
