If you can’t distinguish between bad acts of people abd bad acts of institutions what is the point of the thread?

You can’t hide behind the fact that you’re not part of an atheist organization. Geez.
I’m not that PP but you seem to have impaired logical thinking abilities. Unfortunate.

Nobody said that. This puts a fine point on the hypocrisy of atheists’ daily slams against Catholics, though.
There are many bad people - some atheists and some religious. Beingg atheists or religious is not the cause of why some are bad. Have we not seen enough of bad on both sides? I don't know why you are picking fight with atheists. That's not very Christian-like.
Providing data is leveling the playing field after years of daily vitriol against Catholics and other believers. Providing data is not “picking a fight” in any sense.
Come on PP. It's called "cherry picking". Be better.
So you’re discounting sexual misconduct by misleading atheists. Got it.
Don't think you Got it, but you sure are trying hard to make atheists look like sexual predators. Any group has a hard time catching up to religions when it comes to sexual predation.
You atheists have a pretty high batting average. Including Dawkins and the guy who started the Man-boy love group. Why do you keep pretending to be holier-than-thou?

You can’t do basic math, I see. Somehow that doesn’t surprise me.

Anonymous wrote:NP. I’m atheist. I’m fine with PP pointing out sexual misconduct by atheists. It’s vastly outstripped by religious sexual misconduct, but any sexual misconduct is reprehensible and should have a harsh light shone on it. I’m not like the religious folks who try to hide their sexual abusers. Show the atheists who are sexual abusers. Let everyone know who they are. Don’t be like the religious people who defend sexual abuse by their leaders.

Whereas the entire Catholic and LDS churches are built on being institutions. What people object to is when the institutions cover up sex abuse, and that argument is barely if at all applicable to atheists because while you may have found a couple of associations representing a couple thousand atheists they simply do not cover the vast majority of atheists
Also, the atheist organizations that do exist don't hold the same sway over members as churches do. There's no fear of eternal damnation to keep people in line.
Does that mean once you find out there is no god, you will turn into a sexually misconducting atheist? Is fear what's keeping you straight? I hope not.

The sexual misconduct cases involve leading atheists. People, including Dawkins who supports “mild pedophelia” (see earlier in the thread), who make a living speaking for all atheists. Don’t try to twist this into something it’s not.
