The last stat I saw was about fifty fifty.
No one in my household has gotten it. We all try to avoid going indoors other than our house but when we do go indoors for work and school we were kn95s or n95s.
I think it is now very much higher than 50/50. Out of my team of 23, only 2 people have not had it. And many of these people are living pretty cautiously, working from home etc.
As an aside, I suspect not many people are living (if that is what it can be called) as cautiously as you. It was one thing pre-vaccine, but to deny any non-masked socializing for years for something that, in the vast majority of cases, is no worse than the flu, seems, frankly, bonkers...
Well if that’s your attitude I’m not surprised most of the people you know have gotten it.
Where did I say no unmasked socializing? We keep socializing outside. Sometimes I wear a mask outside when we are socializing but the rest of my family doesn’t.

LOL no.
Drive 30 minutes outside of DC. 99.9% of people are NOT living cautiously. The immediate DC area is a huge anomaly of very anxious people.
PP, and I agree. I posted above that I have not had it, and have not been living remotely cautiously for over a year - still have not covid. And I know several people like myself. They're vaccinated, not Republicans, test if sick, but otherwise don't worry about it.
At this point, I think there’s this small group of DCUM harpies who are still obsessing over masks and covid. I don’t know anyone in real life who behaves the way these people claim.
Then why are you obsessing over them? You don’t know any.
Lol that’s cute. No one is obsessing over you.
You are and now you have more to obsess about.
You are trying really hard to pick a fight on the internet. Sorry it’s not going to work because no one cares about you anymore. People just think you’re sad.
You care so much that you are obsessive. It’s sad and hypocritical that you attempt to shame people for masking as obsessing when you are the one who is obsessing over it. You’re embarrassed and saying irrelevant things to deflect.
+1. Who cares if someone wears a mask? They don’t need permission and nor does anyone have to. Worry about yourself.
You guys aren’t even making sense. No one cares if you wear a mask. No one.

Anonymous wrote:I diasgree with the PP who said it was due to some living cautiously. It's true this may be the case for a few, but I have lived with spouse and 2 DC who have had it without isolating and never got it. I'm in health care (physician) and I do believe there are some people who are naturally resistant and we may find out why at some point.

N95 groupies. I love it. And totally agree.
Oh, so you’re both childish. How embarrassing for you.
