No, we don't have this data. Tons of people with no access to tests, particularly at the beginning of the pandemic when it was difficult to get tested. In later months, there are tons of people with at home tests, who don't necessarily report a positive test (where would you report it to, particularly at the height of the pandemic when systems weren't in place). And then there are the weirdos who have politicized this pandemic and think testing is equivalent to agreeing to get mind controlled by Bill Gates.

Same. We stopped being careful more than a year ago. No one in my family has had COVID. We’ve tested frequently because of school and work requirements. Never had it.

I think it is now very much higher than 50/50. Out of my team of 23, only 2 people have not had it. And many of these people are living pretty cautiously, working from home etc.

As an aside, I suspect not many people are living (if that is what it can be called) as cautiously as you. It was one thing pre-vaccine, but to deny any non-masked socializing for years for something that, in the vast majority of cases, is no worse than the flu, seems, frankly, bonkers...

Where did I say no unmasked socializing? We keep socializing outside. Sometimes I wear a mask outside when we are socializing but the rest of my family doesn’t.

Never sick, never positive. Never had symptoms so never tested, unless I was around someone who had it. Sort of cautious, but really slacking in that department since Spring. I am super careful about keeping my hands away from face and eyes.

PP, and I agree. I posted above that I have not had it, and have not been living remotely cautiously for over a year - still have not covid. And I know several people like myself. They're vaccinated, not Republicans, test if sick, but otherwise don't worry about it.

At this point, I think there’s this small group of DCUM harpies who are still obsessing over masks and covid. I don’t know anyone in real life who behaves the way these people claim.

I remember during H1N1, we were told that people that had had the flu in 1968/69 had a natural immunity to H1N1, so is it possible research will find something that predisposes people to have a resistance to Covid?

We have been masked anytime we are inside. Kids masked at school. Of family of 5, kids in public, none of us have had COVID yet, and we've traveled 3-4 times since 2020. All vaxxed and boosted.
