No one in our family has gotten covid so we will keep taking the middle road-follow the rules of the school, respect other people's choices, have a mask available, aside from those rules it's up to you whether you mask or not. Last year, the school required masking until late spring and the kid chose to wear a mask until the end of the year, this year I think she will choose not to wear a mask.

Indoor masking will continue for our kids.
Husband had covid at the beginning of the pandemic...turned into long covid...would not wish it on anyone. Kids went to camp this summer and the camp that welcomed people with testing but no masking had a pretty bad outbreak that gave our dd and 25 other people covid. Other camp that had kept masking the whole time had 2 symptomatic cases.

Our some wears one pretty much all of the time in public. He will wear one at school this year, by choice.
