Did the entire Pride team get an offer for Capital? Split Blue and Orange? Any of them staying with Pride?

The kids who went to G8 were also at a big disadvantage because they played three hard games Sunday afternoon in New Jersey and then had to turn around less than 24 hours later for a four hour tryout.
Pride wasn't invited to G8 so they had an extra day to recover from their tourney that wrapped on Saturday. Realistically there were only about 10-12 open slots available to the 110 or so not already pre-selected.
Gussie pulled in about $10K in tryout fees and based on the format, it certainly seems to open her to criticism this was a money grab. M&D, Skywalkers, and Heros all have multi day tryouts, which yields more accurate evaluations.
But renting the field twice and paying the evaluators for another session cuts down on the profit margin. Congrats to the girls who made it and for those who didn't, there are may paths forward besides Capital so stick with it.

Tryouts should be over several days even a week to make sure the right girls are getting an offer. Having two hours tryouts and charging $50 or whatever for 180 players is misleading and unethical. Period.
Do the hard work and evaluate over multiple days.
But it's not like the lessons were a secret. They were advertised and anyone could attend. If it is something you want, you find a way to gst noticed, whether it is those lessons or healthy baller sessions, but you don't leave it up to a one time tryout with 150 girls and expext to stand out
Then why take the money from 150 girls and pretend.
And I also love the cute “dont wear identifying clothing” and another hoax.
You probably won’t believe this but my DD didn’t even try out for Capital. She is on another team. But some friends did.

At the end of the day who cares what club you play for, as long as that student accomplishes their goal and it seems as though metro is the second best club in NOVA based off the recruiting success. Yes, more successful than pride
But really bad schools from an academic perspective. If you care about your DD going to a well regarded college, MCElite has a better track record than VAMetro.
