Nope. They’re all legitimate except “your DH is cheating on you,” and the “your kids are brats” is about 50/50 legitimate. The rest are absolutely valid.
NP. But if they are completely unsupported by any facts presented, they are not valid and legitimate. It’s one thing to say “could it be that your music is too loud? I didn’t invite somebody once because her music was too loud.” It’s another thing to say “your neighbors probably hate you because you’re one of those obnoxious homeowners who plays music too loud, people like you are the reason I will now always live in an HOWA.”

I am not one of those posters however I see them in 96% of the threads posted on this forum.
I think the people that are so mean on here are pretty miserable in their real (offline) lives.
They likely carry a ton of suppressed internal anger around all the time + use this forum to blow off some steam every now + then.
I find it very unfair and unnecessary to do so…..and will likely call them out on this.
However if someone posts that they have cancer, have lost a child or another loved one, etc. the responses that follow are typically kind, sympathetic as well as heartwarming and empathetic.
Not a bad apple in the bunch.

Just a curious question to OP: do you not find most women in the DC area to be quite rude in person, as well? Many of them are fairly monstrous in person.

There have been incidents where the offending party will try to say they are "joking" - but if you go back and look at their posts, it is quite obvious that it is more serious than "joking". You are not a child in a principal's office - grow up.
OP, some people pile it on just to pile it on, their lives suck that very much.
