That’s horse poop. Everybody should have “something to hide” every once and a while. Mine would probably I said I was going to help my parents and I did, but I also got a manicure or cried in the car alone at the park for a while. Whatever. People need alone time and don’t need to be tracked.

It has a “share for 24 hours” thing that can be really useful if you’re coordinating comings and goings. But permanently is a no for me.

Without a very, very compelling reason, I would see it as a huge red flag. I've been with my DH for 10 years and we only turn it on if one of us is on a road trip without the other. I recently took the kids on a road trip and I shared my location with my DH, my dad (he always worries and wants updates), and my sister, who I was going to visit.

I share my location full-time with my best friend. I travel weekly for work, and it’s good to know someone is able to see me in real time. She also gets notified of my Lyft/Uber rides by default.

Boyfriend gets my location as necessary. Driving 6 hours up the coast? Sure, he gets it until the end of the day. Going on an all-day paddle with my dog? Makes sense. I don’t have it turned on as a blanket thing.

I have a friend who was visiting friends here but wasn’t sure of her schedule so she asked me to share my location. I refused. She could just call/text if she was free like a normal person. I never heard from her and I’m ok with that.

I would share mine with a bf if I’m out late or something, but not ongoing Do you live together..

I thought my spouse and I have it turned on but it only gets used like maybe once a year so I guess I’d say it’s a little weird.

Weird for sure. I’d rethink the relationship.

I think it’s weird. Everyone is entitled to their privacy.
