That’s fewer than 10% of the guys in this area. What’s your plan?
Where do you find this data?
The above poster said 200K is the minimum for a man... HERE IS THE DATA:
In 2020:
Only 10% of men make over 150K (NOTE: men of ALL ages not necessarily men in your preferred age range)
Only 5% of men make over 200K
BY AGE: at 30 only 1% are making over 200K at 40 around 3% are making over 200K at 50 only 5% make over 200K at 60 only 3% are making over 200K
Therefore; you are most likely looking for a dude in his 50s and overall that is only about 5% of the overall population and that includes the ones that are already married.
Bottom line, 200K is unrealistic for most women.

Full disclosure: I married my gut when he was making 120k, 18yrs later he makes 700k, is an amazing dad and husband.
I wonder how long it would take you to leave your DH if his salary dropped to 100k with no room for growth is a guy making 800k came along

Some women are looking more for $175-200+ with hopes they can be a SAHM.
LOL. What depths of Alabama are you posting from? 175-200k is not enough to be a SAHM and forgo ones earnings in any HCOL area. I would only seriously consider it if my spouse was making over 500K- an income level we are not even at quite yet with both of us in the workforce. The absolute bare minimum would be 350/400k and that would assuming kids go to public schools.
12 years ago I was married, making $65k, with a SAH wife and 2 kids in a SFH inside the Beltway. We had 2 cars, 2 dogs, private school for the kids, and foreign vacations.

I’m always trying to improve at work and am looking at what it takes to get to the next level. I don’t think I would be happy with a beta personality. So my answer is if I can earn $200k, why can’t he?
Date/marry someone who is a doer/has drive toward something that matters. The money will follow.
