An X5 with leather starts at 62k, and X7 starts at 78k. A Tahoe is a luxury SUV aimed at buyers who prefer to purchase from American manufactures and they are priced similarly to other luxury SUVs.

Or families like mine with 4 kids. I wish we could still make a bmw or Mercedes work but the back row is just too small

Really depends on the inside features. Most likely - yes the Denali line is very lux

No low down Ferrari's or Lamborghini's for me.

You'd probably be able to afford it now if you didn't spend so much on unnecessary apostrophes. Sorry, apostrophe's.

I read and re-read the post you commented on. The apostrophes (commas) seem about right to me but I'll admit that I'm no English major. You obviously are which is why you would comment on something so trivial and petty.

NP. “Denali’s” and “Ferrari's or Lamborghini's” are straight-up wrong.

PS. Also, if you really care, it should be “If I were a multi-millionaire” (subjunctive). And there’s a stray comma but that’s not a biggie.

For $80K, its rear, rear quarter, and side profile do absolutely nothing for me. Compared to a $93K New Range Rover, which oozes elegance and $$$$$ from every angle, it seems like a rip-off. That said, the New Range Rover is probably more like $100K if you can even find one for sale, and 25% more dinero is not an insignificant sum.

The Range Rover is ugly. And always broken.

The Range Rover comes from a tradition of driving over rutty country roads and fields, which implies having money. The SUV is for driving around suburbia.

I'm in my 50's and have only ever bought one brand new vehicle. It wasn't bought for status, I just felt that I work hard and deserved to treat myself for once in my life. I've had the vehicle for 7 years now, no regrets.
Cool. I bought a new car once when I was 22. Before I knew better. Now I always buy cars that are 2-3 years old, because I know better. No regrets either.

I had one. It was very comfortable. The Denali trim line has a bigger engine and some nice upgrades. It was too big for me, though, so I bought a smaller non-American made SUV. I don’t think of it as a luxury SUV, but it was nice.

It’s expensive, so it’s almost luxury in that sense. But it’s also tasteless, so not “high class” luxury.

People who buy Yukons can’t afford a new Range Rover.
