I did a 2 week, doctor led intensive “cleanse”…basically one meal a day, cut out wheat and sugar and dairy. 14 days of minimal food, and I lost…2 pounds.
I felt GREAT: alert and light. But not a pound.
I’m continuing the diet, but with 2 meals a day, and also adding in 45 mins daily of strength training and cardio. I’ve lost…nothing in 2 weeks.
I’m so upset. Am I bound to be fat forever? I am being honest here people. I did not sneak food. I lost 2 pounds, after cutting out almost ALL food. And rigorous exercise.
What’s wrong with me?

I think the one meal a day will tank your metabolism, but do 2 meals and be patient.

I checked out their website -- looks like $40/week? That's not outrageous for people on DCUM.
I did Dr. Beale several years ago and had success. I also kept it off for quite awhile, but COVID and life....
It is Phentermine and a weekly B12 shot. You must drink 60 ozs of water daily (they were very strict on it) and only eat foods on the approved list. Basically lean protein, lettuce, cucumbers, grapes, apples, strawberries, citrus, broccoli (I can't remember what else). For example, they weres specific on the fruits, blueberries (if memory serves me correctly) and tomatoes were not on the list. They aslo provided a medical check up before you start, weekly monitoring and support.

60 pounds in two months? What did they feed her, meth?
A prescription medication and B12 shots. A year later, weight stayed off. Amazing.
Which one?!
I wonder if it's ozempic/wegovy. It's a miracle drug but between stingy insurers and greedy drug companies none of us can get it.
Which is so weird because so many of us would pay $400 a month or so out of pocket if they’d offer it.
