But an exGF had done it to men with supposedly tremendous results, and offered it, so long as I bought a box of latex gloves. I didn’t have any gloves. We broke up just after that for other reasons.

I'm now a middle aged man.

When I was younger, I thought I had to be good in bed (pay attention to her very specific needs and desires) in order to get her off, but i didn't need her to be particularly good at anything. Women almost always got off with me, even if they complained that they hadn't always gotten off with other guys. I paid a lot of attention to foreplay, what she was doing and saying, how she was breathing, etc. And I took my time. I always figured that I myself would get off no matter what.

Now I need a woman to be as attentive in bed as I am. They need to take their time with me. I would try to save the relationship - if he’s decent otherwise as father and a good earner. What about other areas (finances, joint vacations, kids, common topics for conversation) ?
